Cloudstrats, a GoI recognized Startup under DPIIT Program

Mumbai – September 4, 2019 – Cloudstrats has been recognized under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion Program – a Startup India Initiative by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry – Government of India.

Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, intended to catalyze startup culture and build a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India. This initiative has rolled out several programs with the objective of supporting entrepreneurs, building a robust startup ecosystem and transforming India into a country of job creators instead of job seekers. These programs are managed by a dedicated Startup India Team, which reports to the Department for Industrial Policy and Promotion (DPIIT).

Recognition by the DPIIT indicates the potential of Cloudstrats to perform and evolve at the rapid pace that the digital business demands. This also gives leverage to benefits such as self-certification with 9 labor and environment laws, patent application and IPR Protection, tax relief on capital gains, getting listed as a seller to the Government of India through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other channels and bidding for government tenders.
